Man in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times by roommate in Harlem

HARLEM (WABC) -- A 61-year-old man is in critical condition after police say his roommate stabbed him multiple times in Harlem.

The stabbing happened shortly after 6 a.m. in a building on Frederick Douglass Boulevard Near West 149th Street.

The victim's roommate, 52-year-old James Holmes turned himself into police. Police charged him with criminal possession of a weapon, and assault.
