Ronkonkoma shooting leaves man, woman injured

RONKOMONA, Long Island (WABC) -- Two people were shot early Thursday in a house in Ronkonkoma.

Around 4 a.m., a gunman fired a shotgun at a man and a woman through the door of their Pawnee Street home, police said.

Both were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
