Man's car stolen in Chelsea with cremation urn, ring

CANARSIE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect after a car was stolen, along with a bronze cremains urn and a ring inside.

Around 2 a.m. Nov. 2, a man parked his vehicle on West 27th Street in Chelsea, and when he returned, it had been stolen.

The car was recovered Nov. 4 on East 89th Street in Canarsie, Brooklyn. A gold ring with 1977 on the side of it and an urn had been stolen. A man was seen leaving the car and fleeing on foot.

There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black man, last seen wearing a black jacket, multi-colored hat and gray pants.
