MASPETH (WABC) -- No charges have been filed in the death of an on-duty New York City sanitation worker in Queens.

It happened Saturday afternoon in a sanitation depot at 58th Road and 47th Street in Maspeth.

Police say 43-year old Stephen Frosch was doing maintenance on a street sweeper, when a different street sweeper driven by a co-worker struck him, pinning him in between the two vehicles.

Frosch was declared dead at the scene.

He lived in Garden City South on Long Island. Mayor Bill de Blasio says he leaves behind a wife and four children.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
