Police looking for men in series of armed business robberies in Bronx

Police are looking for four men they said are behind a series of armed robberies.

They're responsible for six armed robberies in the Bronx, according to the New York City Police Department, since April, including five during a one-week period in August.

They've stolen at least $3,000 in cash, cell phones and other items.

The most recent was 3 a.m. on Aug. 27 at a Rite Aid on Crosby Avenue. One suspect threatened a cashier with a gun and took more than $400 from the cash register, while other suspects stole more than $600 in cigarettes and a Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone from an employee.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
