Man shot in Brownsville; man, woman suspected, police say

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man who shot another man in Brownsville earlier this week, and the woman who they say was with the shooter at the time.

Around 8 p.m. Nov. 4, a man fired several shots on Blake Avenue, hitting the victim in his left leg, according to the New York City Police Department. The suspect then handed the gun to an unknown woman and they both fled.

The victim was treated and released at Kings County Hospital.

The first suspect is described as a black man, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light-colored pants, and black and white sneakers.

The woman is described as black, 18, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches. She was wearing a grey sweater, black pants and was carrying a brown bag in her left hand.
