A teen couple police say are responsible for a two-state crime spree have been found.

At noon on Saturday, the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Triston Kindle and Rose May, from Ohio, who have been missing for several days were in custody.

The two were the target of an intense manhunt; officials called them a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde. They were on the run, wanted for a two-state crime spree, including a hold-up where a police officer was hurt.

The Wyandot sheriff's office said Kindle, 16, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and Rose May, 15, of Sycamore, Ohio, were taken into custody by the West Virginia State Police after a police pursuit of another stolen vehicle from Pennsylvania.

According to West Virginia State Police, the stolen vehicle had crashed and the two fled on foot before they were captured. Police also confirmed that the two had a gun at the time they were taken into custody.

According to the sheriff's office, the parents of the juveniles were notified and are traveling to New Martinsville.
