Shooting in Newark leaves 2 dead, 3 wounded

NEWARK (WABC) -- Police are investigating a pair of shootings that killed 2 people and injured 3. Police say 23-year-old Zaire Williams was fatally shot on South 20th Street about 9 p.m. Saturday.

Less than 3 hours later, someone opened fire outside the "Oasis 93" bar on South Orange Avenue.

38-year-old Lisa Parker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three others were injured.

Police are looking into whether the shootings are related.
