Teen arrested after stabbing at high school football game in Dix Hills

DIX HILLS, N.Y. (WABC) -- A teenager was arrested in connection with a stabbing after a football game at Half Hollow Hills High School East on Friday night.

The stabbing, around 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the Dix Hills school, followed a dispute between the suspect and the 19-year-old victim, who knew each other.

Kamal Williams, 17, of Melville was charged with assault and menacing. He was arraigned in Central Islip and held on $11,000 cash bail.

The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
