Restaurant fire causes smoky conditions near Penn Station

MIDTOWN (WABC) -- Crews responded to a smoky fire at a building in Midtown on Saturday.

Officials say the fire broke out in the ceiling and ducts of a restaurant on 8th Avenue and 36th Street.

The 5-story building near Penn Station contains apartments and businesses. Smoke from the fire could be seen throughout the area.

No injuries have been reported.
