Perdue is recalling some chicken shipped to the Tri-State Area.

The company says about 700 pounds of chicken may have been processed at the wrong temperature, making it vulnerable to contamination.

Perdue is recalling 2 and a half pound packages of raw chicken labeled "Cookin' Good Whole Young Chicken" giblets and necks.

The packages have the number "P-764" on the box.

There have been no reports of any illnesses so far.

The products were produced Sept. 3, 2014 and then shipped to a New York distributor for re-sale and food service use in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
