NYC Mayor de Blasio gets snubbed on Bronx Columbus Day parade invite

MORRIS PARK, Bronx (WABC) -- New York City's mayor will not be marching in The Bronx's Columbus Day parade.

Organizers said Mayor Bill de Blasio was not invited this year, amid the controversy of Christopher Columbus statues on city property.

They mayor last marched in the Morris Park parade in 2015.

This year's parade kicks off at 11 a.m. this Sunday on Morris Park Avenue and White Plains Road.
