14 hospitalized after Kentucky school bus rollover crash

LEBANON JUNCTION, Ky. -- Fourteen people were hospitalized after a rollover crash involving a school bus in Kentucky Monday.

There are a lot of questions in Lebanon Junction after the wreckage was cleaned up.

Video of the crash from the air showed it was a dramatic scene.

"Somebody was trying to pass somebody, kind of, and then the bus driver was trying to like pull over. And then like the wheel kind of broke; so the bus crashed," said Cooper Brown, who was on the bus.

Brown's first thought Monday afternoon was how to help out fellow students.

"I told them that if there was enough room in my car for all of them, I could probably take them to their house if their moms and dads couldn't come," Brown said.

Lebanon Junction Fire Chief Adam Heath says first responders were dispatched just after 4:30 p.m. local time.

Heath said he hasn't seen a crash like this before.

"Not in my 24 years in this county," Heath said.
