2 pedestrians struck, 1 fatally, in Corona hit-and-run crash
CORONA, Queens (WABC) -- Two pedestrians were struck, one fatally, in a hit and run in Queens early Thursday.
The victims, in their 20s, were crossing westbound on 102nd Street just after 4:05 a.m. on New Year's Day.
A white SUV driving southbound on 102nd Street struck both pedestrians.
A man who appeared to be in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 24-year-old man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the SUV did not stop and is being sought.
The investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
