87-year-old woman shot in the neck in the Bronx

WILLIAMSBRIDGE, The Bronx (WABC) -- An 87-year-old woman was shot in the neck in the Bronx.

It happened just before 4 p.m. Friday on East 224thStreet and Barnes Ave. in the Wakefield section.

An 18-year-old boy was also shot in the hip. Both he and the woman were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Two persons of interest were taken into custody.
