67-year-old woman stabbed, killed by her son in New Jersey: police

HARRISON, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police are investigating after they say a woman was stabbed and killed by her own son and another woman was also stabbed and injured.

The victims were attacked inside the Harrison Gardens apartment complex at around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Rosa Massoni, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene. She lived in the third-floor apartment where an early morning altercation turned into a bloodbath.

Her 32-year-old son, Victor Temoche, is the suspect. He is charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.

The trail of blood flowed from the top floor down two flights of stairs and was smeared all over the front entrance and sidewalk.

A second woman, who is in her 50s, was also stabbed in the vicious assault. Her condition was not yet known.
