Man slashed in face on the subway in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- A subway rider was slashed in the face in Brooklyn in what police believe is an unprovoked attack.

The victim was riding a northbound Q train on Saturday morning around 6:30 a.m. when police say he was attacked near the Church Avenue Station.

The 37-year-old man was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

The attacker got away.
