
INWOOD, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police are searching for a male individual wanted in connection with a non-fatal shooting in Inwood, Manhattan on the afternoon of Monday, November 24.
Investigators say that around 4:15 p.m. in the vicinity of West 204 Street and Broadway, an unidentified shooter brandished a gun and shot a round in the direction of a group, striking 64-year-old Francisca Nunez. The shooter then fled.
Nunez said that dozens of teens dressed in black were arguing about something when one of them pulled a knife, which was followed by a gunshot.
Nunez received treatment for a bullet lodged in her left leg at Harlem Hospital.
When asked if she had a message for Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, Nunez emphasized removing guns from the streets.
The individual police are looking for was last seen wearing a black jacket, black sweater, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers.

Police have made no arrests and the investigation continues.
