Police ID suspect in fatal shooting of man in basement of Fordham restaurant
FORDHAM, Bronx (WABC) -- Police in the Bronx said they have identified the gunman who fatally shot a 29-year-old man last week.
Authorities say they are searching for 24-year-old Luis Aguero.
Yeimy Reyes, 29, was shot in the head inside the basement of the M Lounge Restaurant at 2362 Jerome Ave. in the Fordham section just after 4:25 a.m. last Thursday.
Reyes was then brought outside to the sidewalk, where he was pronounced dead.
People in the area say the victim worked as a DJ.
The victim's wife off camera told Eyewitness News that her husband was at the restaurant selling sunglasses last night.
The NYPD is still searching for Aguero. There is no word on a motive.
