STAATSBURG, N.Y. -- Police say a man has died after falling from a cliff at a state park along the Hudson River in Dutchess County.
A state parks spokesman tells the Kingston Daily Freeman that 34-year-old Shahedul Kahn of Queens was camping at Margaret Lewis Norrie State Park when he fell from a 30-foot cliff into the river around 2:15 a.m. Saturday.
Dutchess County sheriff's deputies and park police recovered Kahn's body. He was declared dead at a Poughkeepsie hospital.
