4-alarm fire tears through restaurant in Carlstadt, New Jersey

CARLSTADT, New Jersey (WABC) -- A 4-alarm fire tore through a popular restaurant in New Jersey Sunday morning.

Firefighters responded to the Balcony Restaurant lounge and catering hall in Carlstadt at around 3:30 a.m.

Flames burned through the roof of the historic building that dates back to 1869.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
