GLEN ROCK (WABC) -- A police sergeant in New Jersey is facing charges of sexting with two teenagers.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli announced the arrest of Glen Rock Police Department Sergeant Eric Reamy, 51, of Fair Lawn.

According to the prosecutor, Reamy contacted a 14 year old female and a 17 year old female on numerous occasions via electronic communications during which he engaged in sexually explicit language.

Reamy allegedly convinced the victims to participate in sexually explicit dialogue, and asked the 14 year old to send naked photos of herself.

Investigators say Reamy then sent two naked photos of his private part to the 14 year old. He is accused of engaging in this conduct while he was investigating and or supervising the two juvenile females.

Reamy, who was the Juvenile Officer in charge of the detective bureau, is charged with five counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The arrest is the result of a month long investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor=s Office Confidential Investigations Unit, assisted by Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Computer Crimes Unit.

Bail was set at $250,000 for Reamy, who is married.

One of the counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child is a first degree crime and the remaining counts are crimes of the third degree.
