1 person killed in Prospect Heights shooting

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WABC) -- One person was killed during a shooting in Brooklyn.

The NYPD confirms that shots rang out shortly before 8:30 Saturday night on Sterling Place in Prospect Heights.

Police said a 41-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives are investigating. No arrests have been made yet.
