Let the media circus begin: Her Majesty has spoken...on Twitter.

Queen Elizabeth of England communicated on the social media outlet for the first time Friday morning. The occasion? The opening of the Information Age gallery in London's Science Museum.

The tweet was sent from the official British Monarchy account, which has often spoken on behalf of the queen.

Since it's the first time a tweet has been sent personally by the queen herself, many might be saying, "Pics or it didn't happen." The account took care of that, too.

First photo-bombing and now this. It seems Her Majesty is well on her way to winning (or, should we say, ruling) the Internet.
