WEST NEW BRIGHTON, Staten Island (WABC) -- Police on Staten Island are looking for three suspects wanted for robbing a teenager of his cell phone.
It happened on November 20th at 8:30 p.m. in West New Brighton.
The 18-year-old man was standing in front of 1351 Forest Avenue when he placed his cellphone on a nearby ledge after finishing his conversation.
A woman and a man approached the teen and asked him for money. Meantime, another man grabbed the victim's phone and ran away.
As the victim attempted to chase after the man who just took his phone, the other two suspects became to search the victim's pockets for money.
They left empty-handed.
