Suspect wanted for taking tip jar in Islip with money for at-risk kids

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Suffolk County Police are looking for a man who stole a tip jar from an Islip store in April.



A man stole a donation jar off a counter at Nook and Cranny at 469 Main St. in Islip around 2 p.m. on April 28.



The jar contained about $75 to benefit The Marcie Mazzola Foundation, which assists abused and at-risk children.



Police ask that anyone with information about the case call 1-800-220-TIPS.
