NEW YORK (WABC) -- According to a new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, synthetic marijuana is far more powerful than real marijuana.

After a study following a mass overdose in Brooklyn last July, it was found that the synthetic marijuana, which goes by names like K2, Spice, and AK-47, is up to 85 times more powerful than the real stuff.

33 people overdosed after smoking the synthetic drug in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Fortunately no one died, but many of the affected collapsed and had seizures.
