What to do at Grounds for Sculpture in NJ this Summer
TRENTON -- Grounds for Sculpture covers 42 acres of magnificently landscaped land and even includes three major historic buildings from the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds. Their variety of classes, speakers and events makes it a place for people of all ages. For example, the Artists Speak lecture series and a variety of hands-on workshops for adults and children are very popular. The collection of contemporary outdoor sculptures is ever-changing and outstanding. The Grounds for Sculpture also hosts rotating exhibitions in six indoor galleries, spectacular dining, and even moonlight tours. In addition to the visual arts, special events include music concerts, poetry readings and theater and dance performances.
