Walmart customer sprayed in face with liquid during New Jersey robbery
UNION TOWNSHIP, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police in New Jersey are on the lookout for two women they say sprayed a woman in the face and then robbed her while she was shopping at Walmart.
The incident happened at the Walmart on Springfield Road in Union Township on Tuesday, March 12.
Detectives say the victim was shopping when she was approached by the two women.
They allegedly sprayed her in the face with some sort of cleaning liquid and snatched her purse.
The victim says she became disoriented when she was sprayed, but she was not seriously hurt.
Police released surveillance photos of the suspects, who they say fled in an older four-door small silver sedan.
