Up Close: Charles Rangel looks back on 46-year tenure in Congress

NEW YORK (WABC) -- There comes a time in all of our lives when we can - without risk and not thinking it's a waste of time - turn around and look back at what we've done.

As he closes his 46-year tenure as a congressman from New York City, Charlie Rangel can do that if he wants. Look back at all he has seen, all he's done, all he's accomplished, all he might regret and wish a do-over.

Or maybe not. Maybe he'll be like the Charlie Rangel his constituents know and love. A man who plows forward no matter what time of life it might be.

The congressman joins us this week, to look back and look ahead.
