Up Close: Syrian refugees
NEW YORK (WABC) -- The humanitarian crisis affecting millions of Syrians has, like so much of our political discourse these days, turned into a vitriolic discussion.
This week the search for calm and rational thinking as we talk with Republican Congressman Peter King, a member of the Homeland Security Committee and Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Counter-Terrorism.
He joins us from his office in Massapequa Park on Long Island.
From the political angles to the law enforcement considerations, we are also joined by our security consultant Nick Casale, a former detective with the NYPD and counter-terrorism expert with the MTA.
