Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman impersonate each other ahead of 'Deadpool & Wolverine' release

NEW YORK (WABC) -- "Deadpool & Wolverine" is the movie mashup fans have been waiting for.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are great friends, and are using their connection to fuel their hilarious, wild and heartwarming new adventure.

Joelle Garguilo sat down with the actors who are thrilled for this passion project to make its big screen debut on Friday.

Without giving away any spoilers, the movie features "Deadpool & Wolverine" teaming up to defeat a common enemy -- it's a film about friends, by friends, with some fan favorites returning to the big screen again.

Reynolds and Jackman even have some fun answering questions as each other in a hilarious moment.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" opens in theaters this Friday.
