NEW YORK (WABC) -- After a dry start Tuesday morning, thunderstorms will bring heavy rain starting around noon and continuing into the evening.
Tuesday is an AccuWeather Alert day due to the possibility of flooding downpours and damaging winds, with 2-3 inches of rain expected before the heaviest storms pass.
Unsettled conditions are expected to linger into Wednesday and Thursday before the sun returns in time for the weekend.
