NEW YORK (WABC) -- Sunday is the pick of the weekend, with plenty of sunshine and low humidity.

The warm-up begins in earnest on Monday, with sunshine for much of the day and a high of 86. From there, temperatures take off.

The good news is that, unlike the humid stretch leading up to the Fourth of July, this heat won't come with the same oppressive humidity, so it should feel noticeably more comfortable even as the numbers climb.
