OCEAN VIEW, New Jersey (WABC) -- Tammy Tozer found some 2,000 plus beautiful wedding photos this weekend.
"I know how much memories mean to people. I want to be able to return their precious memories back to them," Tozer said.
Tammy, her husband, and their 12-year-old son, from Ocean View, New Jersey, had just visited the observatory at 1 World Trade on Friday and were walking to the fire station nearby when they noticed a memory card on the ground.
She picked it up and has since been on a quest to find the owner.
"My whole objective is to find who they belong to and return them," Tammy said. "I know how devasatated I would be if I lost my sim card with more than 2,000 pictures on it."
Tammy says she looked for visual clues in the photos. As far as she can tell, none of the pictures were taken in New York or even in the states.
She believes the photos were snapped mostly in Greece and Brussels, and the beautiful wedding shots perhaps in Vienna.
Tammy is hoping the internet's global reach will reunite the photos with the owner.
"Social media can be the best thing ever or the worst thing," Tammy said. "It's definitely proving to be an amazing thing here. I've reached a lot of people in two days."
After Tammy posted the photos on her Facebook page Sunday night, she has gotten more than 700 shares and it's climbing every hour.
