KEW GARDENS HILLS, Queens (WABC) -- Police are searching for the man who raped a woman along the side of a road in Queens.
It happened just after 6 a.m. Sunday, when the 51-year-old victim was walking along the Horace Harding Expressway in Kew Gardens Hills.
Police say the man grabbed her from behind, threw her on the ground and sexually assaulted her.
She reported the attack to police about four hours later.
No arrests have been made.
The NYPD describes the suspect as a black male in his forties, six feet tall, approximately 180 pounds, with a slim build and clean-shaven wearing black long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and short hair.
There are no arrests at this time and incident is being investigated by NYPD's Queens Special Victims Squad.
