Freight train derailment sends two cars onto street

A freight train derailed in Newark this morning, flipping two cars onto an industrial street. Eyewitness News is told the train, carrying cars, derailed just after 2:30 a.m. in Port Newark. Two of the train cars flipped onto Doremus Avenue at Port Street.

No injuries were reported. However, Doremus Avenue was closed to traffic.
