A body was fished out of the Nissequogue River in Kings Park Tuesday, and authorities are looking into whether it is the man who accidentally drove into the body of water last month. Authorities say the body was discovered in the river, off of Old Dock Road, just before 9 a.m.

The body was reportedly found near the location of where a man accidentally drove into the river early on March 15. His friend's body was recovered hours after the crash, but the remains of Robert Ungerer never were found.

An ongoing dredging project, which kicks up silt, made the search for more difficult, according to the Marine Bureau.
