Two disturbing cases of attempted child abduction, just a week apart, in two neighboring towns in New Jersey. And tonight parents are on edge, and cops are looking into whether the two incidents in Edison and Woodbridge may be connected. It's one of the creepiest crimes anyone can committ. Attempting to lure a child into a vehicle using a puppy as the enticement.

Parents are on edge over this weekend's incident which happened near Kimberbly Road in the Colonia section of Woodbridge.

A similar incident took place near one intersection in Edison last week when a man in a dark blue pick up truck offered a 9 year old girl some candy, but cops at this point are not connecting the crimes.

One mother found out about the Woodbridge luring case through the towns emergency call system, and was shocked that her five-year-old needed a reminder about stanger danger.
