The wife is hospitalized in critical condition.

Man drives away with wife on roof
LONG ISLAND Suffolk County police say 29-year-old Diamond Mircea was fighting with his wife, 25-year-old Monica Mircea, at their Islip Terrace home around 12:30 Sunday morning. They say he jumped into the car, and she climbed onto the car's roof to try to stop him.
