Suspicious letter at police precinct

Police say A suspicious letter prompted a hazardous materials response at an NYPD police precinct on Staten Island Tuesday morning. The letter, containing an unknown white powder, arrived at the 120th Precinct at 78 Richmond Terrace.

Acting out of caution, 11 people inside the precinct were put through decontamination procedures.

None appeared to be injured.

Richmond Terrace was closed in front of the precinct for the investigation.
