NYC schools get report cards

NEW YORK This time, it's the principals who have to worry. The report card grades are for individual schools. The system of grading each institution on an A through F basis was introduced last fall.

The chancellor says the grading system is a crucial part of his reform efforts.

K-8 grades are now available. Progress reports for high schools and transfer schools will be released later in the fall.
