Man charged in deadly FDR crash

A Connecticut man is charged with vehicular manslaughter after a deadly accident on the FDR Drive in East Harlem.Police arrested 37-year-old Malik Armstead after he refused to take a breath test at the scene of the accident.

Investigators say the victim, 31-year-old Anthony Maschi, had his car break down on the FDR near 125th Street early Sunday morning. Police say Maschi was trying to cross the lanes of traffic to get help when he was struck and killed by Armstead.
