Robbery victim dies during police interview

Police are treating a gas station robbery as a case of murder following the death of the victim. The robbery happened at 10:30 Thursday night at 56-02 Broadway in Woodside, Queens.

According to investigators a black man in his 30s entered the Getty gas station, showed a gun and demanded cash.

When police arrived, 42-year-old Noor Khan became ill while being interviewed.

Medics rushed him to the Elmhurst Hospital where he was dead on arrival.

The Medical Examiner's Office said Khan suffered a heart attack, and classified the death as a homicide.

Police were still looking for suspects.
