Human rights worker arrested for porn

NEW YORK The Queens District Attorney's office says Clarence Dias, president of the International Center for Law in Development, was arrested Tuesday with the child porn in his carry-on while going through security. He was on his way to Bangkok.

Prosecutors say Dias, whose office is located in the UN, told authorities the material was for research.

Dias was expected to be arraigned on felony charges of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child. Calls to his home and office seeking comment were not immediately returned.
