All were taken to University Hospital and are reported in stable condition.

Police say they are investigating whether the shooting resulted from a verbal confrontation. No arrest has been made.

Georgia King Village is a 422-unit housing complex with townhouses and two 18-story towers.

It was the third multiple shooting in Newark in less than a week. Three people were wounded Sunday in a shooting outside the Robert Treat Hotel downtown. On Friday, seven people were wounded in a shooting at a bar.
