A third-alarm fire burned down a large home in Ramsey, sending two residents to the hospital and killing three family dogs. Newscopter-7 was live over the scene.

The fire broke out in the house on Debaun Avenue just before 6 a.m. this morning.

Eyewitness News is told residents fell down the stairs as they rushed out of the blazing two-story house.

An adult and his 17-year-old son were reportedly taken to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The other three family members in the home were not hurt.

However, officials say the family's three dogs died in the flames.
