Terror suspects plead not guilty

The four men charged with plotting to blow up Jewish synagogues and shoot military aircraft out of the sky pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning in federal court in White Plains. James Cromitie, Onta Williams and David Williams all entered verbal pleas. Laguerre Payen acted like he could not understand the judge, and the plea was entered for him.

    The four were ordered held without bail and will be back in federal court in White Plains on Friday.

    Two were in suits, two were in jeans. There were no family members in the courtroom.
