A 20-year-old man was walking near Liberty Avenue and the Van Wyck Expressway around 1:15 a.m. where he was approached from behind by eight males who struck him with an unknown object. The suspects removed the victim's wallet and fled the location. The victim was brought to Jamaica Hospital where he was treated and released.
Surveillance video captured the eight suspects.
