Two men were stabbed and six people arrested after police broke up a large street fight in Paterson early Sunday. Police say about 20 people were involved in the altercation, which broke out around 1:30 a.m. It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the brawl, but both stabbing victims were expected to fully recover.

However, one of the stabbing victims - 24-year-old Joaquann Montgomery of Paterson - was also among those arrested after he allegedly tried to attack an emergency medical technician who was trying to treat his shoulder wound. Montgomery was charged with aggravated assault and making terroristic threats.

The other five people arrested - three men and two women, all from Paterson - were charged with disorderly conduct after they ignored officers' orders to disperse.
